What We Do
Since 2004, we have professionally produced and fully-staged The Nutcracker Ballet.
We fill our cast with local, talented artists and round out the cast with talented principal dancers from around the globe. We always keep tickets prices affordable for paying patrons. And, aligned with our mission, we also donate several hundred seats each year to the underserved in our community who might not otherwise be able to afford or be exposed to a professional ballet.
We serve our communities through three initiatives. The HeARTS program helps to bring the joy of dance to the community by allowing those in need to attend our professional ballet for free, and by performing our 'Nutcracker in a Nutshell' mini-show all around the community during the holiday season. Dance for Life is a youth sponsorship program, bringing the skill, joy, expression, and mental and physical healthiness of dance and life skills to children and families with financial need. The Legacy Project benefits individuals through a highly personalized, choreographed dance at a critical time in their lives when they are having difficulty coping with the loss of loved ones or other hardships.
We rely heavily on the generous support of residents and businesses in our community who donate their dollars, time and talents to bring the joy of the arts to our less fortunate neighbors.
