About the Event

Honored guests were treated to a magical day. Set in the Fellowship Hall at Church of the Foothills and transformed into a themed wonderland, guests were escorted to their table by members from our Nutcracker cast where they made crafts, ate delicacies and were treated to a special narrated Nutcracker performance. All guests got to meet the Sugarplum Fairy and pose with her for a picture to take home and treasure forever, and many browsed through our famed Nutcracker Boutique.

We had such a fun day at our 14th annual Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Party on Saturday, November 11. Thank you to all who attended, performed, volunteered and shopped our boutique. We so appreciate all of your support and hope our guests will come watch our 19th annual Nutcracker performances in Downey in December. You will be amazed at our production, our full cast, our full show including other performances by our principal dancers, our beautiful staging and of course the wonderful sounds of the famous Tchaicovsky score performed by a live 48-piece orchestra. The Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Party is one of Orange County’s premiere holiday events each year. It is always held in advance of our annual, full production of The Nutcracker Ballet, which will be staged again this year at the beautiful Downey Theatre on December 2-3, 2023.
